Comments: “Crisp and cloudy,” reads the label which is an apt description. Sadly, it does not read “good and tasty.” I have a fondness for hefeweizen and wheat beers, but it seems that when I venture away from the German imports and Harpoon UFO, I’m always disappointed. This Rochester, NY brewery’s attempt comes with a nice thick and a malty rye taste but otherwise rather bland. A decent beer to drink on a warm summer evening, but nothing to go out of the way for.
