Comments: Is it time of the year for pumpkin ale already. It’s still hot and sunny out and although culturally summer ends this weekend although as the earth revolves summer is still a few more weeks long. Still it’s nice to have a pumpkin ale and this is a tasty organic one from a Vermont brewery. It’s suitably pumpkin colored, smells rather gourdlike and has a spicy flavor that has hints of sweetness and bitterness but neither overwhelm. So bring on Autumn I say – foliage, hay rides, apple pie, and pumpkin ale!
