Beer Reviews: Left Hand Nitro Milk Stout

Beer: Left Hand Nitro Milk Stout
Brewer: Left Hand Brewing Company
Source: Nitro-tap
Rating: *** (7.2 of 10)
Comments: A nice dark black stout with lots of carbonation and a thin but dense head.  It gives off a sweet and peaty aroma.  The taste is sweet with caramel overtones and a bitter aftertaste.  The head persists and leaves light lacing.  It’s a decent stout that’s drinkable and fulfilling.

  1. I’m happy to see you gave this a high rating than the non-nitro. This is my, and Beth’s, go to beer. I’m so glad you enjoyed it!

  2. This is one of the few stouts that I can drink, and I am always happy to see it on a restaurant’s beer list. :)

    1. Thanks for the comment!

I used to drink stouts almost exclusively, but have been less interested in them in recent years. Still, nothing can top the experience of a fresh poured Guinness or Murphy’s at a pub in Ireland. Rogue Shakespeare Stout is also worth seeking out.
