April and the Blogging A to Z Challenge are now over. Thanks for joining me on a journey through 26 things about my neighborhood of Jamaica Plain in Boston, MA. I hope it was illuminating, although it barely scratches the surface. I could make another A to Z list with completely different topics (except Q, I have no idea to do with Q).
If you started reading this blog for the A to Z Challenge, I hope you stick around. My About page lists the typical topics you will see covered in this blog as well as other ways to connect with me.
Below are links to all 27 posts for JP A to Z:
- Introduction
- A is for Arnold Arboretum
- B if for Botanica
- C is for Construction
- D is for Decorations
- E is for English High School
- F is for Footlight Club
- G is for Graves
- H is for Haffenreffer
- I is for Ivy
- J is for Jamaica Pond
- K is for Kuchamakin
- L is for Ley Line (Sylvia Plath and Anne Sexton)
- M is for Monument
- N is for Nobel Peace Prize (Emily Greene Balch)
- O is for Orange Line
- P is for Francis Parkman
- Q is for (Latin) Quarter

- U is for Ukraine Way

- W is for Wake Up the Earth Festival
- X is for eX-JP
- Y is for Yarn

Great idea for a theme. I didn’t do a theme this year as I thought A-Z was enough of a theme. But one sort of emerged as I went along. As for the Q, maybe do what some others have done and go with a word that includes Q rather than begins with Q. Maybe there is some good BBQ in Jamaica Plain??

Thanks for the comment. I’m sure I could figure something out if I did it again.
