One of the most famous residents of Jamaica Plain is known for spending many hours of the day sleeping in a shop window. No, it’s not a performance artist, it’s Ivy the Insurance Cat!

We used to have a cat in our newspaper office. She was great company, but didn’t get a bed in the front window.

She looks pretty comfortable hanging out on display. It would make me want to stop in and visit.

That’s one cozy cat. I always try to say hi when I pass by. But I’ve never needed to buy insurance.
